Susan Sneider is a recognized management expert for law firms, law
departments and educational institutions. Her experience as a practicing
attorney, corporate general counsel and management consultant to
law firms and law departments provides
her with a unique ability to understand and respond to client needs.
She has extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational
structure, governance, crisis management, business development,
practice management, partnering between inside and outside counsel
and RFP development and responses. She designs and facilitates retreats
for leadership groups, law firms and corporate teams. Susan is a
skilled trainer who works with groups and individuals on career
development, mentoring and networking.
Most recently, Susan was a management consultant at Hildebrandt
International, one of the nation's leading management consulting
firms for law firms and corporate legal departments. She served
as a faculty member for Hildebrandt Institute's programs on practice
management and professional development.
Susan was also General Counsel of Turtle Wax, Inc. for five years.
Prior to her tenure at Turtle Wax she practiced complex civil litigation
and transactional law. She has taught legal and technical writing
at the college and graduate level.
She has published and spoken extensively on all aspects of law
department management. Susan is one of the authors of the seminal
West/ACCA joint four-volume treatise, "Successful Partnering
Between Inside and Outside Counsel." She has spoken before
the ABA and various state and local bar associations and the ALA,
internationally at the Legal Monte Carlo conferences, and is frequently
quoted by industry publications such as The National Law Journal,
American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel and Corporate

Susan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University and received
her JD from Boston College Law School. She is a member of the Board
of Directors of Piven Theatre Workshop, an off-Loop theater company
and acting school.
